Attraverso un talk aperto a tutti Valeria Pierini presenterà il suo ciclo di lavori realizzati in Irlanda del Nord: 'Almost' e 'Limbo land'. Ad accompagnare la presentazione saranno in mostra le sue recenti pubblicazioni ('Topografia di una storia', 'Cruel nature has won again' e 'Almost') e i suoi diari d'artista, testimoni della pratica artistica svolta dall'autrice. Con l'occasione verrà presentato il workshop in programma il 10 e 11 ottobre. Il talk è aperto a tutti e gratuito.

TOPOGRAFIA DI UNA STORIA

Attraverso lo storytelling, la scrittura e la fotografia, Valeria Pierini condurrà gli iscritti alla creazione di elaborati intorno alle tematiche del paesaggio, della memoria e dell'immaginario. Perché 'tutto può essere materia di storie'. Il workshop prevede parti teoriche e pratiche volte alla costruzione di un elaborato finale.

SPECIFICHE

E' richiesto l'uso di una macchina fotografica digitale non necessariamente reflex. E' necessario munirsi di un quaderno 'Tipo Moleskine' (è importante la tipologia e non la marca), colla, forbici e di un dispositivo (cavo usb o lettore di scheda) per scaricare le foto su computer, e di una chiavetta usb.

TIMING

Workshop: sabato 10 e domenica 11 ottobre, ,mattina e pomeriggio, teoria e pratica. Scadenza iscrizioni: mercoledì 30 settembre.

Costi e iscrizioni

La quota di iscrizione è 130 euro.

Per iscriversi è necessario versare entro il 30 settembre un acconto di 80 euro (previo avviso tramite mail). La restante parte della quota va versata entro la prima lezione (10 ottobre) confermando l'avvenuto bonifico per email (incontridifotografia@gmail.com)

E' anche possibile iscriversi effettuando il pagamento della quota per intero. Il saldo (acconto e/o pagamento finale) va effettuato attraverso bonifico mandando una email di avvenuto pagamento a: incontridifotografia@gmail.com. I pagamenti vanno versati a: IBAN IT41V3608105138238674938676, intestatario Valeria Pierini. Una volta ricevuto il pagamento di tutta la quota verrà rilasciata la ricevuta.

Qualora l'interessato, rinunci a partecipare ad acconto o quota intera versata, o a laboratorio iniziato, quanto versato non sarà restituito.

In caso il corso non parta per motivi esterni ai partecipanti gli acconti o le quote intere versati saranno restituiti e saranno ripristinate nuove date per poter svolgere il workshop.

Valeria Pierini (Assisi, 1984) è un'artista fotografa umbra laureata in comunicazione di massa. La sua ricerca artistica si muove traendo ispirazione dalla letteratura e dalla filosofia e dallo storytelling. Ha esposto in numerose collettive e personali in Italia e all’estero, tiene corsi e workshop, per adulti e ragazzi, in associazioni scuole ed università. I suoi lavori sono stati selezionati in molti concorsi e festival nonché ampiamente pubblicati.  Tra le ultime esposizioni e pubblicazioni: 'Cruel nature has won again' e 'Almost' relativo a quanto prodotto durante la residenza artistica a Derry (Irlanda del Nord) su invito e curatela dell'associazione ArtArcadia. Con il ciclo di lavori nord irlandesi è stata finalista del Premio MIA e ha vinto il premio Still young all'interno del SI Fest di Savignano Sul Rubicone.

Through a talk open to all Valeria Pierini will present her cycle of works made in Northern Ireland: 'Almost' and 'Limbo land'. The presentation will be accompanied by her recent publications ('Topography of a story', 'Cruel nature has won again' and 'Almost') and her artist diaries, witnesses of the artistic practice carried out by the author. On this occasion, the workshop scheduled on the 10th and 11th of October will be presented. The talk will be open to all and it's free.

TOPOGRAPHY OF A STORY

Through storytelling, writing and photography, Valeria Pierini will lead the members to the creation of works around the themes of landscape, memory and imagination. Because 'everything can be a matter of stories'. The workshop includes theoretical and practical parts aimed at building a final paper.

SPECIFICATIONS

The use of a digital camera (not necessarily reflex) is required. It is necessary to have a 'Moleskine type' notebook (the type is important, not the brand), glue, scissors and a device (usb cable or card reader) to download photos to a computer, and a usb stick.

Costs and registration: The registration fee is 130 euros.

Valeria Pierini (Assisi, 1984) is an Umbrian artist and photographer with a degree in mass communication. His artistic research moves drawing inspiration from literature, philosophy and storytelling. She has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows in Italy and abroad, and holds courses and workshops, for adults and children, in associations, schools and universities. Her works have been selected in many competitions and festivals and widely published. Among the latest exhibitions and publications: 'Cruel nature has won again' and 'Almost' relating to what was produced during the artistic residence in Derry (Northern Ireland) on invitation and curated by the ArtArcadia association. With the Northern Irish cycle of works, she was a finalist of the MIA Prize and won the Still young prize at the SI Fest of Savignano Sul Rubicone.
