Découvrez la magie du cyanotype!
Les ateliers d’initiation au cyanotype sont un moment privilégié pour découvrir la magie d’un procédé photographique ancien tout en partageant un moment de connexion aux éléments : la terre vous offre ses végétaux, le soleil imprime l’empreinte de vos créations, l’eau révèle leurs parts de poésie et le séchage à l’air donne toute son intensité au bleu de Prusse.
Les ateliers ont une durée d’environ 2 heures 30 durant lesquelles vous réaliserez vous-même toutes les étapes de la création de cyanotypes et découvrirez l’histoire du cyanotype et ses secrets.
Tout d'abord, vous préparerez la solution photosensible à base de deux oxydes de fer, que vous appliquerez sur votre papier pour le sensibiliser. Vous choisirez ensuite parmi les plantes et fleurs proposées afin de créer votre composition unique. Vous pouvez également apporter vos propres végétaux ou tout autre élément dont vous souhaitez garder l’empreinte.
Vous exposerez ensuite vos créations aux rayons du soleil. A l’issue de l’exposition, vous découvrirez la beauté des empreintes déposées par le soleil sur votre papier et procéderez au rinçage à l’eau. C’est à ce moment là que le bleu si caractéristique du cyanotype va se dévoiler et que vous découvrirez le résultat final !
A l’issue de cet atelier, vous repartirez avec vos propres cyanotypes et de nombreuses connaissances pour pouvoir pratiquez la technique chez vous si vous le souhaitez !

I laboratori di iniziazione alla cianotipia sono un momento privilegiato per scoprire la magia di un antico processo fotografico condividendo un momento di connessione con gli elementi: la terra vi offre le sue piante, il sole imprime l'immagine delle vostre creazioni, l'acqua ne rivela le parti poetiche e l'asciugatura all'aria dona tutta la sua intensità al blu di Prussia.
I laboratori durano circa 2 ore e mezza, durante le quali realizzerete in prima persona tutte le fasi della creazione della cianotipia e scoprirete la storia della cianotipia e i suoi segreti.
Innanzitutto, preparerete la soluzione fotosensibile a base di due ossidi di ferro, che applicherete sulla carta per sensibilizzarla. Sceglierete poi tra le piante e i fiori proposti per creare la vostra composizione unica. Potete anche portare le vostre piante o qualsiasi altro elemento di cui vogliate conservare l'impronta.
Esporrete poi le vostre creazioni alla luce del sole. Al termine dell'esposizione, scoprirete la bellezza delle immagini lasciate dal sole sulla vostra carta e procederete al risciacquo con acqua. A questo punto il caratteristico blu della cianotipia si rivelerà e scoprirete il risultato finale!
Alla fine di questo laboratorio, ve ne andrete con i vostri cianotipi e le conoscenze necessarie per praticare la tecnica a casa, se lo desiderate!

Discover the magic of cyanotype!
The cyanotype initiation workshops are a privileged moment to discover the magic of an ancient photographic process while sharing a moment of connection to the elements: the earth offers you its plants, the sun prints the imprint of your creations, the water reveals their poetic parts and the air drying gives all its intensity to the Prussian blue.
The workshops last about 2 hours and 30 minutes during which you will carry out all the steps of the creation of cyanotypes yourself and discover the history of cyanotype and its secrets.
First, you will prepare the photosensitive solution based on two iron oxides, which you will apply to your paper to sensitize it. You will then choose among the plants and flowers proposed to create your own unique composition. You can also bring your own plants or any other element that you wish to keep the imprint of.
You will then expose your creations to the sunlight. At the end of the exhibition, you will discover the beauty of the prints deposited by the sun on your paper and will proceed to rinse with water. This is when the characteristic blue of the cyanotype will be revealed and you will discover the final result!
At the end of this workshop, you will leave with your own cyanotypes and a lot of knowledge to practice the technique at home if you wish!
